Jimmy’s’ heart lays with his beautiful wife and two amazing children, and the awesome natural splendour of the Sea to Sky corridor in British Columbia Canada; their home for thirty-plus years.

Since the moment he first arrived amongst the grand mountains and rivers, lakes, and oceans in the formative years of his early teens, Jimmy began pursuing the calling in his heart he couldn’t deny to challenge his body mind and spirit amongst those wonders.

By the time he graduated high school, nearly twenty-five years ago, Jimmy had already built a reputation as a fearless and driven athlete across a broad spectrum of outdoor sports. The time had come for him to travel abroad and test his heart in valleys and mountains and cliff sides worldwide.

Upon returning home, he knew his life would be dedicated not only to his own continuing pursuit, but more importantly the mission to share his experiences through film, photography and slide shows, helping to raise funds for those less fortunate around the world, while also raising awareness of the raw gift of nature; and how it matters that we protect it and honour it.

Very few can claim the athletic accomplishments that Jimmy can. Fewer still can capture the majesty and magic of nature and other cultures through their chosen media the way Jimmy can, and all with a humility that is heartfelt and genuine.

Jimmy’s’ excitement and never-ending pull to natures’ adventures is an example of a life well lived. His generous nature to share with friends, family and any soul who asks is abundant, and his infectious laughter and fun-loving spirit inspires all around him to embrace the gifts of their own lives.
